Amethyst was raised by her parents, both previous victors of the hunger games. Her dad taught her his weapon, the bow and arrow, and her mom taught her how to use dual swords. All Amethyst likes to do is train for the games, it's her main hobby. She's determined and motivated, which can sometimes make her seem harsh or cruel. She doesn’t waste time with things like friends. The only things important to her are training and her looks, but training always comes first.

Amethyst was going to volunteer like both of her parents, this was her chance. She had planned it her whole life long.
Before the escort can even read the name on the slip, Amethyst says, “We’ll never need to know the name on that slip because I volunteer as tribute.”
She got a round of applause when she said her name, since the audience recognized the last name. She knows she can win. The sponsors are already lining up.
Amethyst's Parade Story
Amethyst was in the first chariot to take off, and the cheering is instant. She heard many people calling her name, she is from District 1 after all. She shouted back to them, smiling and waving, showing her appreciation for their cheers. At one point, she hopped up and sits on the edge of the chariot, hoping to stand out from the other tributes. She tried her best to stand out while also not doing anything too reckless.
