Olivia lives in District 8 with her mother, father and twin younger siblings. Her father makes uniforms for peacekeepers and her mother is a teacher. Olivia works in a shop sewing and stitching materials to make blankets for the Capitol.

Olivia kissed her siblings’ heads and went off to the reaping. She was nervous. She was picking at a scab on her arm nervously. When Olivia heard her name, she looked back to see her siblings one last time. She walked up to the stage and stood there holding her tears back.
